Physical Activities 1

Teaching is focused on demonstration of basic movement skills training in selected collective games (volleyball, basketball, floorball, softball / baseball, futsal / small soccer / football, frisbee, tennis, table tennis, badminton, rugby), demonstration of training resources needed for development and maintaining fitness, demonstration of compensatory exercises suitable for compensation of one-sided loading, demonstration of methods and forms of monitoring, etc. Students acquire motor skills in the field of collective sports and acquire skills for basic operation of monitoring equipment.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Graduates of Physical Activity 1 will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills about sports games (individual game activities, forms and manner of fitness preparation, measurement and testing, etc.) through selected collective (team) sports. Students will be able to orientate themselves in collective sports and in devices and equipment suitable for their monitoring.
The written test will test the acquired knowledge.

Course curriculum

Teaching is focused on demonstration of basic movement skills training in selected collective games (volleyball, basketball, floorball, softball / baseball, futsal / small soccer / football, frisbee, tennis, table tennis, badminton, rugby), demonstration of training resources needed for development and maintaining fitness, demonstration of compensatory exercises suitable for compensation of one-sided loading, demonstration of methods and forms of monitoring, etc. Students acquire motor skills in the field of collective sports and acquire skills for basic operation of monitoring equipment.

1. Introduction to study - content of teaching, test requirements, OSH; team sports
2. - 12. Sports: volleyball / beach volleyball, basketball / streetball, floorball, softball / baseball, futsal / soccer / football, frisbee, tennis, table tennis, badminton, rugby:
- demonstration of basic movement skills training
- Training resources demonstrations
- examples of compensatory exercises
- forms and methods of monitoring,
- excursion to selected sports clubs
- presentation of seminar papers.

Aims

The main objective of the course is to demonstrate examples of quality training process in selected collective (team) games at various performance levels (beginner, advanced, performance) and to understand the principles of these physical activities with subsequent application to sports technologies.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Checking of teaching takes the form of attendance attendance (attendance records) and active participation in teaching. 2 unexcused absences allowed. Replacement of absences in the lessons of the sports guarantor. Attendance of 2 semester papers assigned to the introductory lesson (6th and 11th week).
