BUT course of is organized as a teacher controlled group game in which two or four players hit a tennis ball back and forth across a tennis court divided by a net using tennis rackets. The tennis game can be enjoyed all year round by players of practically any level of skill.
NOTE! Clean indoor sport shoes and comfortable sport outfit is your must.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Credit- based on active participation in lessons, regular attendance together with registration in the attendance list (two unexcused participations are allowed). One credit is granted in accordance with the Directive No. 17/2019 concerning the teaching of Physical Education.
Controlled attendance, registration of attendance in the attendance sheets. Active participation in the lessons. Two unexcused absences are allowed. Excuse personally or by email, the latest 24 hours after your scheduled activity.

Aims
Learning basics of the game and the correct technique of the basic/advanced tennis strokes. Compensation for unilateral sedentary jobs and improvement of student skills and knowledge about development and sustainability of fitness to achieve an optimal state of physical fitness as an appropriate means of health prevention and the activities of how to spend their leisure time in active way.
The course is based on modern knowledge of sports training environment and the needs of current generation of university students. Students will learn the correct technique and drills for the basic tennis skills as well as the tennis scoring system.
